Our Shipyard “CAPTAIN DOCK”, is located within the serene village of Chicalim, Goa, India. The shipyard is at a short distance from the Dabolim Airport, port city of Vasco-da-gama and the Mormugao Port.

OUR HERITAGE

Our Shipyard comprising the drydock at Chicalim, Goa was established in the year 1985 by our founder promoter Captain H.K.Trehon, Master Mariner and recipient of the “Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the Maritime Industry”.

A vast number of vessels have undertaken repairs at our shipyard over the years. A number of cargo barges, passenger ships, pilot launches, pontoons have also been successfully constructed and delivered from the Shipyard.

As a tribute to our founder promoter we have re-christened our shipyard as “CAPTAIN DOCK”.

SHIP REPAIRS AND CONVERSIONS

We efficiently repair all kind of vessels, tugs, barges, pontoons, tanker barges.

We undertake conversion of dry bulk cargo barges to tanker barges.

We have carried out extensive repairs to damaged vessels and undertaken major stern gear and rudder assembly overhauls which includes re-installation, engine alignment and trials.

We collaborate closely with Owners, Naval Architects and the Classification Society to ensure prompt repairs in a professional and planned manner. This enables us to achieve a faster turn around of vessels without compromising on quality.
